Getting to the festival

Travelling to the Festival is an important part of your day out, so plan in advance to make sure it’s hassle free.

The Festival takes place in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace on Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December.  

Opening times: 10am - 6pm (Friday & Saturday)
Sunday opening times: 10am - 4.30pm

Venue address: Hampton Court Palace, Molesey, East Molesey KT8 9AU.

By Caraccordian title

The palace is located on the A308 and is well signposted from all the major local roads; drivers should follow the brown tourist attraction road signs.

From the M25 take either exit 10 on to the A307 or exit 12 on to the A308.

The palace is also accessible via the A3 and then the A309. 

Parkingaccordian title

Park and ride:

Limited parking is available at the Hampton Court Palace Car Park.

A Park and Ride service will be running frequently from Apps Court, where there is guaranteed all day parking for just £5 when booked in advance. Click here to book.

Minibuses will be running frequently and drop off and pick up will be the Palace car park.

*Park and Ride service will shut every day at 6.30pm.

 

By Railaccordian title

With South Western Railway trains running every 30 minutes from London Waterloo, passing through Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and Surbiton, it’s easy to get to Hampton Court Palace by train. The palace is just a five minute walk from the station across the bridge. Click here for more information.

Alternatively, you can also get a train to Kingston and then a bus (111, 216 or 411) from there to Hampton Court Gardens. Or a train to Richmond and the R68 bus to Hampton Court.

For information on planned engineering works please visit the Southwestern Railway website. Hampton Court is in Zone 6 and you can use Oyster Pay as You Go on trains to Hampton Court.

By Coachaccordian title

The nearest coach drop off or collection points are Hampton Court railway station (200 metres from the palace entrance) or Hampton Court Green (500 metres from the palace entrance). Coaches may also park here; coach parking is available free of charge on Hampton Court Green or at a cost of £15 per day at the coach park next to the station.

By Airaccordian title

From Heathrow Airport - take the 111 bus. 

From Gatwick Airport - take a train from the airport station to Clapham Junction and change to the Hampton Court train.

From City Airport - take the Docklands Light Railway to Canning Town and then the Jubilee Line to Waterloo. Catch the Hampton Court train from there.
