Born and raised in Paris, Jacob discovered his passion for pastry at the age of 14 when he experienced life in the kitchen during an internship at the renowned Four Seasons George V.
Deciding to pursue a career as a chef, Jacob worked to achieve a place at Ferrandi, one of the most prominent catering schools in Paris, going on to work full time at Four Seasons George V once he finished his studies.
Jacob went on to gain experience at both the one and three Michelin star restaurants at Le Bristol in Paris where he met his mentor and honed his skills as a pastry chef.
Taking a role with the Oetker Collection in 2013 Jacob moved to the Caribbean to work in the Pastry kitchen at Hotel Eden Rock before eventually moving to London for the re-opening of The Lanesborough.
In 2017 he joined the pre-opening team of the Ten Trinity Square Private Club as Head Pastry Chef, creating intricate desserts for members under the guidance of renowned French Chef Anne-Sophie Pic. In 2019, alongside a colleague from Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, Jacob took part in Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals.
